Access Control

Introducing Acre Access Control v25.12.4

Let’s Talk
More Control. Less Friction.

Introducing Acre Access Control v25.12.4

Security teams don’t need more features.
They need systems that reduce noise, strengthen governance, and work the way they’re meant to.

With the release of Acre Access Control v25.12.4, we continue refining our cloud-native access control platform — helping organizations manage people, credentials, integrations, and policy with greater clarity and control.

This update focuses on practical improvements that simplify daily operations, reduce manual effort, and strengthen confidence across the entire security environment.

Smarter Bulk Access Management

Managing permissions at scale should feel structured — not manual.

The Bulk Access Levels package in Acre Gallery now supports bulk assignment, scheduling, and removal of both Scheduled and Permanent Access Levels and Access Level Groups.

To improve precision, the People List now includes:

  • Multi-select toggle
  • Filtering by Tags
  • Filtering by Custom Forms
  • Filtering by Metadata

These enhancements allow administrators to segment users quickly and apply changes consistently — without introducing risk or inconsistency.

The result is faster provisioning, cleaner permission governance, and less administrative overhead.

Scale, without compromise.

Milestone XProtect Integration Update

Integrations should feel invisible when they work correctly.

For customers using Milestone XProtect, a new DLL file is available via the Acre Knowledge Base, resolving an issue where AAC events were not displaying correctly within XProtect.

Once installed, event visibility is restored — reinforcing trust between systems and ensuring teams have the insight they rely on.

Security ecosystems only work when every part communicates clearly. This update helps ensure they do.

Stronger Governance in Classic Client

In some environments, convenience must give way to control.

A new Instance Setting in Classic Client allows administrators to override the “Remember Me” option on the login screen. When enabled, users must enter their password each time they log in.

This gives administrators and VARs tighter control over credential behavior — supporting environments where stronger authentication discipline is required.

A small adjustment. A meaningful safeguard.

Expanded Acre Wallet Visibility and Credential Management

Credential management should be transparent — especially at scale.

This release introduces:

  • A new Acre Wallet Credentials widget displaying real-time counts of licensed, issued, and deleted credentials
  • A real-time Wallet Badge preview within the Add Acre Wallet Group widget
  • Acre Wallet credential license and usage reporting within the License Report package in Acre Gallery
  • Improvements to Mobile Credential licensing and issuance for both Acre Wallet and BLE credentials

Together, these enhancements provide clearer insight into credential lifecycle management and a more intuitive issuance experience.

More visibility. Fewer surprises. Greater confidence.

Automated Credential Issuance with Okta Cardholder Sync

Digital identity and physical access should move together.

A new script within the Okta Cardholder Sync Gallery package automatically issues a credential when a new Person is added through Okta sync.

This removes manual steps and strengthens alignment between identity systems and physical access control.

Because modern security depends on connected systems — not siloed ones.

Built to Evolve

Acre Access Control v25.12.4 is live as of December 16. Updates for AAC Desktop, Classic Client, AAC Mobile, and Visitor Kiosk are available through their usual update locations.

In addition to the enhancements outlined above, this release includes further refinements and bug fixes. Full release notes are available through the Acre Knowledge Base.

Every release is an opportunity to reduce friction, strengthen governance, and make security operations more dependable.

The future of access control isn’t about adding more tools.
It’s about making the right tools work better — together.

The future is within reach.
