ISC West 2026 Preview: Building the Bridge to What’s Next in Security

Each year, ISC West offers a chance to step back and look at where the security industry stands today and where it is headed next.

For Acre Security, this year’s show is about something simple but important: building the bridge between the systems organizations trust today and the more unified, connected future they are working toward.

That idea sits at the center of our booth experience this year.

On one side of the booth, visitors will see the continued evolution of the on-premises platforms many customers rely on every day, including Access It! and DNA Fusion. On the other, they will see how our One Acre platform vision is bringing together cloud-native technologies into a more unified security experience. At the center is Acre Bridge — our new hardware device and the cornerstone of our migration initiative, designed to connect where customers are today with where they want to go next.

Together, they tell a broader story about how security modernization should work. Not as a forced leap. As a practical path forward.

Earlier this year, Acre CEO Kumar Sokka shared a clear vision for 2026: simplify the partner experience, unify our technology, and help customers modernize with confidence. At ISC West, we will bring that vision to life in a way visitors can see and understand.

Because across the industry, one need is becoming clearer: organizations want to bring their security technologies together, but they also need to do it in a way that respects the infrastructure, investments, and operational realities already in place.

That is the bridge Acre is building.

A Unified Future, Built Around One Acre

At the forward-looking end of that journey is One Acre — our unified platform vision for bringing access control, video, intrusion, visitor management, and intelligence into a single connected ecosystem.

At the core of that vision is Acre Access Control (AAC), our cloud-native access control platform, built to scale across sites and regions while simplifying management and creating a stronger foundation for what comes next. Around it, the broader Acre ecosystem is coming together to create a more connected and intelligent security experience.

At ISC West, visitors will see how that approach is taking shape across:

Acre Video

Bringing native video context directly into access control workflows.

Acre Enterprise Visitor

Extending our industry leading TDS Visitor Management and TDS Life Safety capabilities into the broader platform experience.

Acre Intelligence

Adding new layers of visibility and insight through tools such as Acre Via.

Together, these capabilities point toward a more unified environment where systems work together more naturally, information moves more freely, and security teams can respond with greater speed and clarity.

It is a vision designed for where security is going next. But it only matters if organizations have a realistic way to get there.

Acre Bridge: The Practical Path Forward

That is why Acre Bridge matters.

Bridge is more than a new hardware launch. It is a practical answer to one of the biggest questions organizations face right now: how do you move toward a modern, cloud-enabled security environment without disrupting the systems you depend on today?

Acre Bridge is designed to connect existing on-premises access control systems directly to Acre Access Control, allowing organizations to run on-premises and cloud-native environments in parallel while synchronizing people, devices, and events across both.

This creates a migration path grounded in how customers actually evolve.

Rather than forcing a rip-and-replace decision, Bridge allows organizations to begin adopting modern capabilities — such as centralized management, mobile credentials, and stronger operational visibility — while continuing to build on the infrastructure already in place.

It is a more flexible model for modernization. One that reduces disruption, protects prior investment, and gives customers a clearer path into Acre’s broader cloud ecosystem over time.

For partners and integrators, it creates something equally important: a way to support customers through transition with confidence, while opening the door to new service opportunities and longer-term relationships.

At ISC West, visitors will see Acre Bridge not as a concept, but as the connection point between today’s environments and tomorrow’s platform.

Supporting the On-Premises Platforms Customers Trust

Of course, moving forward in security does not mean walking away from the systems customers already rely on.

For many organizations, on-premises access control remains the right fit for their operational, regulatory, or infrastructure needs. That is why Access It! and DNA Fusion continue to matter as important parts of the Acre ecosystem.

These platforms remain actively supported and enhanced, giving customers dependable performance today while keeping future options open. That approach reflects Acre’s broader view of modernization: progress should feel clear and supported, never forced.

At ISC West, we will showcase the latest updates across these platforms, including new integrations, mobile enhancements, security and compliance improvements, and continued usability updates.

For some organizations, that is the right next step. For others, the next step is hybrid. And for others, it is a broader move into a unified cloud environment.

What matters is having a path.

A Better Way to Move Security Forward

Security leaders today are balancing two priorities at once: protecting what works now and preparing for what comes next.

Acre’s role is to help make that transition simpler.

That means continuing to support proven on-premises platforms. It means building a more unified cloud-native ecosystem through One Acre. And it means creating practical ways to connect the two through solutions like Acre Bridge.

That is the story we are bringing to ISC West this year.

We invite partners, customers, and security leaders to visit the Acre booth and see how Acre is building the bridge between today’s security environments and what comes next.
