Credito Cooperativo invests in cutting-edge intruder alarms

About the client

Credito Cooperativo (BCC) is one of Italy’s most recognizable banking consortiums, serving communities across the nation for over 130 years. Comprised of 317 mutual not-for-profit organizations and over 4,300 branches work, BCC provides a range of financial products and services that reflect the consortium’s people-first values.

The challenge

Headquartered in Cesena, Banca di Cesena e Banca di GATTEO Credito Cooperativo S.Coop was the first member of the BCC to adopt a new security infrastructure to protect its members. In today’s complex threat landscape, the bank needed an adaptable, connected security solution that seamlessly integrates its access control and intruder alarm systems into one powerful platform.

The solution

We created a hybrid intruder detection system that provides the flexibility and scalability the bank required while meeting the European Union’s rigorous EN 50131 security standards. A combination of our SPC5000 and SPC6000 control panels form the core of the bank’s new system.

SPC5000 provides robust protection for up to:

• 128 zones and outputs
• 16 system keypads and doors
• 8 verification zones

SPC6000 expands upon this functionality, allowing users to secure:

• 512 zones and outputs
• 64 doors
• 32 system keypads
• 16 verification zones

We installed SPC5000 and SPC6000 control panels at every branch. For greater flexibility, we integrated them with our SPC Connect system. SPC Connect is a cloud-based solution that enables users to manage, monitor, and control the bank’s SPC panel network remotely through our Smart Security system.

In addition, SPC Connect lets users customize their data view and set up custom features that allow them to manage access rights for individual panels and groups of panels throughout its network using Smart Security. Users can also conduct configuration management, troubleshooting, and maintenance remotely. This saves time, reduces costs, and helps security teams resolve issues quickly.
